A graduate of the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, Ceci develops performance works that bring contemporary dance into dialogue with qigong principles, grief studies, live sound, projection mapping, and responsive digital systems. Her senior thesis, 一 (Yi) / Oneness, was a 45-minute evening-length production exploring balance between mind and body through interactive computer vision and an ensemble cast. Since then, her projects have expanded into site-specific work with Springboard Danse, the LUME Collective pre-show program at Stomping Ground L.A., and collaborative performance installations in Baltimore and Santa Barbara.
